Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Audio Lab handles information when you use the website and browser-based audio editor. It is written to describe the current product honestly and should be reviewed again whenever site features change.
Audio files and local processing
Audio Lab is designed so the core editing workflow processes your selected audio file locally in your browser. The browser reads, decodes, previews, edits, and exports the audio during your session. We do not intentionally upload your selected audio file to an Audio Lab server for editing.
Your edits are temporary until you export a new file. Closing or refreshing the page can clear the in-browser state. The downloaded export is stored wherever your browser saves downloads.
Information collected through normal site use
When you visit the site, technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, pages visited, and timestamps may be processed by hosting, security, analytics, or advertising providers. This information is used to operate the site, understand performance, prevent abuse, and improve content.
If you contact Audio Lab by email, the information you send is processed by the email systems involved and used to respond to your message.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Audio Lab may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, measurement, and advertising. The site may use Google AdSense or other Google advertising products on eligible content pages.
Third parties, including Google, may place or read cookies on your browser or use identifiers, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve, personalize, limit, or measure ads. Google may use data collected from partner sites and apps as described at How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
You can manage Google ad personalization through Google Ad Settings. Your browser may also provide controls to block or delete cookies.
Ad placement limits
Audio Lab is configured so advertising components are not rendered inside the audio editor controls, empty waveform states, upload states, loading states, export controls, alerts, or other purely functional screens. Advertising, if enabled, is limited to eligible editorial pages with substantial publisher content.
Data retention and security
Audio Lab does not maintain a user account system for the editor. Server, analytics, security, advertising, and email providers may retain logs or messages according to their own policies and operational needs.
No website can guarantee absolute security. Use judgment before opening highly sensitive files in any browser-based workflow, and keep your browser updated.
