Fix Quiet Zoom Recordings
Remote-meeting audio often arrives too quiet, uneven between speakers, or buried under laptop fan noise. You can improve many Zoom-style recordings with careful gain, smart trimming, and realistic expectations about what simple tools can and cannot repair.
Why meeting recordings sound quiet
People sit too far from laptop mics, rely on headset mics with conservative gain, or join from rooms with soft acoustics. Zoom and similar tools may also apply processing that leaves headroom, so the downloaded file looks calmer than the live call felt. Cloud recordings, local recordings, and voice-isolation modes can all sound different even for the same meeting.
